First Aid at Work Requalification

2 day (12 hour) classroom based course for up to 12 delegates 

This course is an option if you have really experienced First Aiders who just need to renew their qualification and don't want to feel patronized by the full 3 day course. Do be aware, though - it's the same content, just packed into 2 days - information overload! I don't run this course without an in depth consultation with a company and careful consideration of delegates. It isn't the best option for most learners - hence the price - you might as well get an extra day out of me and a better outcome for your delegates

On completion of training successful candidates should have successfully demonstrated competence in all of the subject areas in an Emergency First Aid at Work course and also be able to:

• administer first aid to a casualty with:

–injuries to bones, muscles and joints, including suspected spinal injuries;

– chest injuries;

– burns and scalds;

– eye injuries;

– sudden poisoning;

– anaphylactic shock;

• recognise the presence of major illness (including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes) and provide appropriate first aid.
